Infact, there was this particular woman, she was so rich, and she had everything she wanted. She had four children, but she lost one of her son. After the death of her son, she was so filled with griefs and sorrows that she became inconsolable, even her remaining children could not comfort or console. Her mind was inundated with worries, griefs, pains and anxieties for a very long time. A day came, when she decided to get rid of pains and sorrows permanently from her life. She took a decision to visit a herbalist home to demand for a charm that can excommunicate pains and sorrows entirely from her life. And they also told her the story of how they lost their only son to a fire incident, and that they’re still mourning his death. She also had pity on them and consoled them for a while, then left for other places. But unfortunately for her, every home she went to, they always tell her different problems and challenges confronting them. She felt so disappointed, but she was a bit elated by the consciousness that, at least she was not the only one being caught up in the webs of pains and sorrows. The challenges of life are myriad, and they’re not peculiar to you alone. There’s no problem in life that is new under the sun. What you think you’re passing through today, someone else has gone through it. You definitely need to rise up to this consciousness and give thanks to God for the problems you do not have, rather than concentrate on the ones you have. Sometimes, you need to go out there and see what others are suffering, for you to be able to appreciate yourself. Don’t concentrate on your challenges, rather, remain calm and confront them. Concentrating on it, makes it look so insurmountable. Just believe that one day, you’ll overcome, and see the end of that problem. No problem lasts forever , it comes within a pace of time and vanishes with time. Stop complaining, complaining never solves any problem. Rather than use that time for complaining about your problems and challenges, use it to strategize and think of the best solution to the problem. Where you can’t get the problem solved, let it be! It will definitely wane with time. Every problem and challenge in life, has an expiry date. Hence there’s no need for worry and anxiety, just believe that you’ll overcome them one day.

So many things we seem not to comprehend actually confronts us in life. Negative things that happens to us in life are often accompanied by sorrows, sadness, griefs, pains, and loss of joy and happiness. The manifestation of this negative feelings of grief, sadness, sorrow, worry, anxiety, fear, anger, depression, malice will definitely breakdown man’s body system. But when positive feelings of joy, gladness, happiness are vent, they will definitely build up the body systems and make it stronger. These positive feelings are mental diet that helps our emotions, strengthens our mind and helps our body system to function effectively. In life there’s always the positive and the negative side, in any negative thing that happens, there’s always a positive side of it. A strong mind builds a strong and energetic body, while a peaceful mind builds a calm body. A person of negative disposition, or a moody person is capable of transferring such feelings to others, through aggression. It is the inner man, that is the subconscious mind that gives the body either strength or weakness, depending on your reaction towards that problem or challenge. Our reaction to an unfavorable situation is undoubtedly what determines our mood, feelings and countenance. When you begin to concentrate on that problem and get involved in self pity, then you’re unknowingly aggravating it. But when you decide to ignore it and never concentrate on it, it wanes. In this life, no body can make you feel ‘bitter’ or better’ but you alone. It is how you react to the problem that matters. When people try to hurt or humiliate you, and you endeavor never to allow it inundate  your thoughts or you ignore them and just let it go, you don’t feel hurt. But when you begin to concentrate on it, and you’re always thinking about it, then you become defeated and your whole body feels weakened.

Most of the heart diseases a lot of people have today, is consequently because they always inundate their minds with negative things. The body receives strength from the mind, but when the mind is filled with negative feelings, thoughts and emotions which causes sadness, depression, unhappiness, pains and griefs, the mind becomes weakened and can no longer give out strength to the whole body, and if this is not controlled, it can lead to heart diseases or breakdown of health. Therefore, you definitely need to always feed your mind with good and positive thoughts, which is the only remedy for a healthy heart.

Sometimes, bad news could us make us feel depressed and dejected, and we begin to accumulate some negative thoughts and feelings that may result in total loss of happiness. When we hear some unfavorable news, the first thing to do, is look for a quiet place and sit down. It isn’t a time to begin to repeat and rehearse the news or focus on it, rather the essence is to bring our countenance and mood down, so that we can properly plan and strategize on how to solve the problem. For by the countenance of the mind, the heart is made straight. Another way to avoid feeling bad as a result of bad news, is to avoid listening to them, because they do us no good.Some people may deliberately want to spoil your mood and make you feel unhappy, but its left for you to refrain from listening to them, and concentrate on other things that will help to increase your happiness and build up your strength.

In order to overcome your problems and challenges, you should be aware that the problems, pains, challenges and discomforts of the world are universal, and they’re not peculiar to you alone. The problems of the world are inevitable, as long as we continue to exists, they’re transient and temporary, but overcoming them absolutely depends on how you handle and react to them.

Problems and challenges are experiences in life that helps to make us stronger and more sophisticated. They help to mature us both physically, mentally and emotionally and also prepare us for some greater task ahead. You need not be frightened when they come, stand and face them with a positive mental alertness, remain calm so that you’ll be able to make the right decisions when it comes. Your ability to be able to handle your problems and challenges makes you stronger and remain unbeaten.

The first thing you must know about developing or improving your confidence level in handling your challenges is that, everyone is confronted by various degrees of challenges in life. As long as you go through this life, you can never abscond from life’s challenges. But the pertinent question is, how do you handle and overcome your challenges? The first step to overcoming your challenges is, always see every of your problem as a challenge. Never say, “i have a problem” rather, “i have a challenge”. Life is like an open battle field, and only those who are courageous and have the right mental attitude often emerges successful. A challenge is a contest that comes to test your courage and your ability to handle tough situations. Those who compete in a race, football or wrestling competition puts in all their best and do all it takes to emerge winner, and when they come out successful, it builds up their courage to compete for a higher one. That’s exactly what a challenge does to us, when you face your challenges and overcome, you develop more confidence in handling tougher ones. Every challenge that comes your way, is an opportunity to advance to the next level. When i was in college, there’s this particular subject i find very awkward to comprehend. The first time i studied it, i couldn’t understand anything, so i decided to pack it up. But it was necessary i must write and pass it in the exam. After a week, i picked it up again to study it, but this time, i was a bit relieved because i felt i was beginning to grab it. But after two days, i decided to go back to the same book, but to my chagrin, the whole book looked entirely new to me and even more complex, i felt I’ve not started. I took it as a challenge and decided to give it two hours everyday, whether i understand it or not. After some weeks of studying it, i began to understand the principles and it became so easy that i love reading it more than any other book.That’s exactly how challenges looks like, when challenges comes your way, never run away from it. Welcome it, confront it, and never give it any space. See every challenge as a stepping stone to greater accomplishment in life. Never entertain any fear or become timid. So many people loose out because of fear, always be courageous in confronting your challenges. The more you confront your challenges, the more you’re building up your confidence in handling greater tasks.
